Hello! My name is Uma and I’m the VP of Technology for one of our global Innovation Stations. Working in a space like this, I get to witness passion and challenge every single day. Creating new and exciting technology products, working with all types of people, and sharing all the different perspectives makes working at Synchrony incredibly rewarding.

Being a part of an organization that celebrates all of its people is amazing. Synchrony shows that it cares with its many diversity network groups, like the APEN+ Network and the Women’s Network+. I’m a part of both of these groups because I’m a minority as an immigrant who came to America 19 years ago and being a woman in technology. There is a sense of community that I get to share with the people I work with and with my own daughters at home. From the beginning, I’ve felt celebrated, respected, supported, and welcomed here.
